These terms apply between RoverCT, LP (“Rover CT”, “we”) and the veterinary practice (“the practice”, “you”) that registers with us, books our mobile CT service, or uses the practice portal at roverct.com. By registering or booking, the person doing so confirms they are authorised to bind the practice.
What we provide
Rover CT brings a mobile CT scanner to your premises on a booked half day or full day, scans the patients you have listed, and arranges for the images to be read by a board-certified veterinary radiologist who provides a written report. We supply the scanner, the operator and the radiology reading. There is no equipment to buy or lease, and no minimum number of scans.
What you provide
- A place to park the van with access to the building on the day.
- Anesthesia or sedation of each patient by your own veterinary team, under your own clinical judgement. Rover CT does not sedate, anesthetize or monitor patients.
- Patients ready at their slot times, and an accurate patient list in the portal — species, weight, the region to be scanned, and the clinical question.
- The relationship with the animal’s owner, including consent and any fee you charge them. We invoice the practice, never the owner.
Booking and cancelling
Days we have opened in your county are shown in the portal; booking one reserves it for your practice. Patients can be added to a booked day until the day before. Urgent requests outside the schedule are offered on a best-effort basis and confirmed by us before they are booked.
To cancel or move a booked day, tell us as early as you can — a released day can go to another practice. We may agree a cancellation charge with you for late cancellations; if we do, it will be confirmed in writing before it applies. A day we cancel — weather, vehicle, illness — is rescheduled at no charge, and that rescheduling is our only obligation for the cancellation.
Pricing and payment
Prices are per scan and depend on how much notice is given; the current rates are shown in your portal and confirmed by us before the first visit. We invoice weekly for the scans performed. Invoices are payable within 15 days of issue unless your account says otherwise, and can be paid by card through Stripe from the portal, or by check or bank transfer to the details on the invoice. We may suspend booking on an account that is overdue until it is brought current.
Our rates are set by us from time to time and may change. Rates described as introductory apply for the period stated and are not a commitment beyond it. A change never applies to a scan already performed, and the rate that applies to any scan is the one in effect when the session takes place.
Prices you charge your own clients
Any figure we show you as a suggested retail price is exactly that: a suggestion, offered so you can see what a scan is likely to be worth to your practice. It is not a condition of working with us.
You set your own prices. What you charge an animal’s owner is entirely your decision, we place no obligation on it, and nothing we charge you or offer you depends on it. We do not require, monitor or enforce any price you set, and we will not treat your pricing as a reason to change your rates, your availability or your account with us.
Clinical responsibility
Rover CT provides imaging and a radiologist’s report. Diagnosis, treatment and all clinical decisions remain with the practice and its veterinarians. The report is an opinion offered to a veterinary professional and is not a substitute for that professional’s judgement.
The portal
We issue one login per practice to the email address given at registration. Keep the password confidential; you are responsible for what is done under it. Tell us at once if you believe it has been compromised, and we will replace it. We may suspend a login that is misused or an account that is overdue.
Do not enter animal owners’ personal details into the portal; it is designed not to need them. How we handle the information you do give us is in our privacy policy.
Images and records
Scan images and the radiologist’s report are delivered to the practice electronically and become part of the practice’s clinical record. How they are delivered, and whether Rover CT retains copies, is agreed with you before your first visit. The portal itself never stores or displays images.
Liability
Each party is responsible for its own negligence. Rover CT’s total liability arising from any visit is limited to the fees for that visit. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of revenue. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the relationship
Either party can stop at any time by telling the other; bookings already made are honoured or cancelled under the cancellation terms above, and invoices already issued remain payable. We will close your portal login on request.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. If we change them, the date at the top changes and practices with an account are told by email; continuing to book after that is acceptance. Questions: info@roverct.com, 201-222-1100, RoverCT, LP, 31 Highview Road, Caldwell, NJ 07006.
