The Process

  • A number of animals is scheduled with their Vet in a grouping when the ROVER Mobile CT Scanner vehicle will arrive at the Practice for a half day or full day.

  • The practice will anesthetize each animal in succession, brings it out to the truck in an animal trough, the animal is scanned in about 10 minutes, then returned to the Vet hospital for recovery and eventual disposition.

  • The images are sent electronically for interpretation and reading by Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist and documentation shared electronically. The Practice charges the pet owners directly.

ROVER is paid a portion of the fees for services rendered.
